Juniors 2024 Winter
The Gungahlin Flames Basketball Club is excited to continue its growth of junior Flames members for the upcoming 2023 winter season.
The GFBC has now opened the registrations for all Boys and Girls age groups from U10's through to U19's. Teams will compete in the Basketball ACT competitions with the revised season structure moving to one main season per year from March through to September.
Interest is sought for Boys and Girls born 2005 or later. See below for further information or don't hesitate to contact us.
Junior Premier:
Winter Premier competitions will commence 3rd March and run through to 1st September with Grand Finals being held on Saturday 16th and Sunday 17th September 2023. The competition is an 18 round season plus final series.
Junior Social Competitions:
Winter Social competitions will commence 18-19th March and run through to 26-27th August with Grand Finals being played on 9-10th September 2023. The competition is an 17 round season plus final series.
Training: 1 x 1hr session weekdays (day and time TBC after trials)
Games: 1 x 1hr game weekends
- Friday: U12/14/16 Premier (night)
- Saturday: U12 Social (morning/lunchtime), U16 Social (afternoon/evening)
- Sunday: U10 Social (morning/lunchtime), U14 Social (morning/lunchtime), U19 Social (afternoon/evening)
Cost: $270 for U10s, $310 for U12-19s Social, $370-415 for Premier (fees cover training, games, playing singlet, club admin)*.
Uniforms:
- Club Singlet: Supplied and returned upon completion of season
- Club Shorts: $35.00 to buy (compulsory for all junior players)
*fees stated above do not include the compulsory Basketball ACT individual player registration fee of $60.00.

Seniors 2023 Winter
The Gungahlin Flames Basketball Club is seeking interest from all senior players for the upcoming 2023 winter competitions.
The GFBC can facilitate senior teams in the following Basketball ACT competitions:
Women - Premier 1/2 (Wed/Th), A Grade (Th), B Grade (Tu), C Grade (Mon), D Grade (Mon)
Men - Premier 1/2 (Wed/Th), A Grade (Th), B Grade (Wed), C Grade (Wed), D Grade (Mon/Wed)
Mixed - A Grade (Tu), B Grade (Tu)
Senior Premier:
Winter Premier competitions will commence 22-23rd March 2023 and run through to 23-24th August with Grand Finals being held on Saturday 16th September 2023. The competition is a 21 round season plus final series. Costs are TBC*.
Senior Social Competitions:
Winter Social competitions will commence 24-27th April 2023 and run through to September 2023. The competition is an 18 round season plus final series. Costs are TBC*.
Uniforms:
- Club Singlet: Supplied and returned upon completion of season
- Club Shorts: $35.00 to buy (compulsory for all senior Premier players)
- Club Warmup Top or Hoodie: $35.00 or $55.00 to buy (compulsory for all senior Premier players)
Any players wishing to play in the senior competitions must contact the club directly on info@gungahlinflamesbasketball.net.au prior to registering.
*Fees for seniors are dependent on the number of players per team and do not include the compulsory Basketball ACT individual player registration fee of $60.00.
