National Police Certificate - (Police Check)

A National Police Certificate (NPC), often referred to as a 'police check', provides a national summary of an individual's offender history. It is generally requested by organisations as one part of their process to ensure the integrity of their staff or volunteers.

National Police Certificate Application forms can be downloaded and completed online before printing.  Fees apply, however the fee will be covered by Basketball Australia as a volunteer of Basketball. Applicants who are unable to complete an online form can contact Records Release Unit to request a hard copy form to be posted to them, or attend a police station.

Applicants must attend a police station with the completed application form, 100 points of original identification documents, and preferably a photocopy of these documents for certification and lodgement with the form.

The National Police Certificate application form can be found by right clicking your mouse button on the following link and open a new tab:

Comment Guidelines: The SportsTG Network is made up of players, families and passionate sports followers like you who have a strong opinion about sport. That's great - we want you to have your say and share your thoughts with the world. However, we have a few rules that you must follow to keep it fun for all. Please don't be rude, abusive, swear or vilify others. Apart from some pretty serious sport sanctions, we also can ban you and report you if things get out of hand. So play fair and have fun, and thanks for your contribution.
