Good Luck Anna!!
On behalf of all involved with PUBDC we would like to wish our very own Anna Meade, the best of luck as she heads off to represent Vic Country at the 2014 Southern Cross Challenge. The four-day event is being held at the State Basketball Centre in Wantirna, starting Friday the 19th of Jan and finishing up on Monday the 22nd of Jan.
Anna was one of twenty athletes selected to represent Basketball Victoria Country at the SCC, which is a fantastic achievement that we are all very proud of!! Over the four days at Wantirna, Anna will compete for the Vic Goldminers in the U/15 age group playing against teams from Vic Metro, SA Country, SA Metro, WA Country, WA Metro and the ACT. Anna also has another fellow Bendigo Basketball Association member in her team, Jessie Rennie, who is a current Bendigo Braves player, and Generals Basketball Club domestic player. A terrific achievement for the Bendigo Basketball Association to have two Bendigo players representing Basketball Victoria Country!!
