Junior presentation day; award nominations open
JUNIOR PRESENTATION DAY
When: Sunday 7th September 2008
Time: 5.00pm to 7.00pm
Where: YMCA in Newtown
A BBQ tea for all the family will start at 5pm, with the formal presentations starting around 6pm
BASKETBALLER & JUNIOR BASKETBALLER OF THE YEAR
Each year the basketball club makes a presentation to a couple of people who have made a significant contribution to the club over the preceding 12 months.
· The Basketballer of the Year is open to all people within the club whether they are players, coaches, managers, administrators or just supporters whose contribution to the club either on or off the court has been of significant value.
· The Junior Basketballer of the Year is presented to a junior member of the club (18 years or younger) who through their contribution, commitment and attitude has been an outstanding member of our club and represented the YMCA Basketball Club at all levels in the most positive way.
If there is somebody you believe is a worthy nomination of these very prestigious awards, complete the nomination form available from your team manager and return it by Friday, 15th August.
