U10 Round 3 saw the BMK U10âs compete against Quakers Hill. After a rain delayed start to the season, all players were raring to go and they did not disappoint. Cameron Fenner and Tristan Takle were strong out of the centre while Lachlan Leaf had the ball on a string. All three provided plenty of opportunities for their forwards. Up forward, Jesse Davidson, Daniel Harris and the mercurial Griffen Burgess shared the ball around as they posted goal after goal. The second quarter was all Liam Ryan, a magical young player who, with the help of Matthew Tomczyk and Thomas Tritton, continued the attack. After half time the boys did not stop their relentless pressure as the goals continued to rain down, keeping their competitors scoreless as they played a wonderful brand of team football.
U12 Blue The Rooty Hill Power hosted the Blue Kangaroos on a wind swept Whalan Reserve. Power by name and by nature as their big six dominated possession over the Roos. Solid games by Kye Gordon, Patrick DeLaMare and Chris Dzwinek in the backs and Jack Shahoud in the centre. Matthew Wilson made an excellent effort to register the Roos only point. Full credit to all the Roos for working hard through 20 minute quarters and the tall timber.

Best Effort: Wilson Dowling.
U12 Black The Kangaroos took on the Penrith Swans at Greygums Oval and thank the Swans for the loan of two players for part of the first quarter until the cavalry arrived from U12 Blue & White teams to make up numbers for this difficult Sunday posting. U14 The Kangaroos U14âs returned to the field on Sunday after a long break due to rain and school holidays, to tackle a determined Camden Blues at Harrington Park. The game started quickly after a minute silence for the ANZACâs and the boyâs chose to run into the wind. It turned out to be a good decision as we piled on the points and raced to a 3 goal lead. After some interesting decisions that saw the Kangas go down to 17 players for the quarter, the Roos stormed into half-time 7 goals in front. Some positional changes and a commitment to improve basic skills was made, and the Roos dominated the 3rd quarter, holding Camden scoreless. Final score: Roos 15.18.108 def Camden 2.0.12.
The result was a reflection of a team coming together and working hard to help each other. Some excellent efforts were also noted from Oliver Morley-Sattler across the back line, Jake Gilliland on the wing and Brian Martland moving forward. The Roos return to Tom Hunter Park this Saturday to take on the improving Hills Lions.
U16 A hard day in the office for the Kanga team at Fairfax Reserve in Harrington Park. The Razorbacks showed goods skills across the park and were quick to the ball and strong overhead.
