Players seeking an AFL experience have the opportunity at the upcoming DraftStar camps being held in the April school holidays at St Ignatius College, Riverview.
Camps offer athletes an insight into what it is like to prepare as an elite AFL player with sessions led by qualified DraftStar coaches and AFL players. Camps will provide education and training sessions to help players prepare for the approaching local football season.
Dates for “Anticipation – The Opening Bounce” DraftStar camps in Sydney are:16th, 17th and 18th April 2012 18th, 19th and 20th April 2012 Please find attached a detailed 3 Day Residential Camp Schedule providing an insight into what the DraftStar Real AFL Experience will provide a DraftStar athlete.
DraftStar Camps offer:
- Individual Development - All athletes have access to an individual website providing them with real time feedback from coaches and testing results allowing DraftStar athletes to track their fitness progress.
- DraftStar is the only program with AFL accreditation to use AFL60 Combine testing.
- Skill Development - Technical aspects of kicking, marking and ball handling required to be an elite AFL player.
- Personal Performance - An introduction to the on and off field decision making and behaviours required to perform at the highest level.
