With the 2013 season fast approaching, I just wanted to give everyone an update on how we are tracking.
After what was a rebuilding year for the Keilor Park Football Club in 2012 where strong foundations and a great culture was put in place. This has now reflected with 64 players, both new and old to Pre-Xmas training.
Both on and off the field we are 5 months in front of where we were at this time last year. We have all our coaches appointed as well as a strong committee and sponsorship and events managers now in place.
Keilor Park Football Club is now in a place to start moving back up to where we belong, and back to the power house we were years ago.
As senior coach I have no doubt that 2013 and beyond are going to be very successful for both SPONSORS & SUPPORTES both old and new. I would have to say that if I was an existing or new sponsor, then there is no better time to be involved with the Keilor Park Football Club.
I now have the a group of players that the senior coaching staff have worked long and hard to get, which will take us back to where we belong as a leading club in the E.D.F.L in the near future.
Another great thing for our club is that we now have the best ground and also the best lights in the league which you will see night games being played this season 2013.
Our Pre-Season starts on Monday 21st January and with most of our recruiting already completed, we can now focus on what will be one of the hardest training this club has ever seen, as we will be leaving no stone unturned in 2013.
I look forward to leading this football club on a very successful journey which starts now and hopefully will result in a premiership later this year.
