The Club prides itself on being a community and family focussed club that endeavours at all times to promote inclusive participation in sports as a way of life for community members
Keilor Park Football Club is an Australian rules football club located 20 km north west of Melbourne in the suburb of Keilor Park and was founded as a junior club over 30 years ago when residents met to establish a local football, basketball, and netball sporting club.
Club colours were chosen to reflect the now defunct local Keilor Park Primary School (1971–2008). This consisted of green with an orange strip and green socks. Its emblem was a Devil with a pitchfork.
The senior club was established in 1986 with its Under 18s winning the premiership that season. Past Players include Mark Mercuri, Joe Misiti & Damien Peverill who all played for Essendon FC among many others.
Over the last 12-18 months the club has gone through some transitional changes including a complete restructure and appointment of a new committee. Our facilities, specifically our ground and lights, have received over $1 million dollars’ worth of upgrades in the last few months which were partly funded by the AFL. We are a club who prides ourselves on family values and we encourage participation in all levels of life not just football. There is an energy and positivity about the club in 2013 that will encourage results and will lead us successfully in years to come.
