Below is a letter from the President of the Cricket Club Brett Middleton.
G’day Members, Past Players and Supporters,
I hope this finds you and yours all well, And looking forward to the festive season ahead.
This is the first year the NMCA have run a woman’s cricket competition (NMCA Women's Cricket Competition Program) and last week the association unanimously voted on the Women’s Shield to be named after Lorraine Ireland. Which is a wonderful acknowledgment of her tireless work for the NMCA, our cricket club and for all sport participation across the community.
So, as President I would like to take this opportunity on behalf of myself and all club members to Congratulate Lorraine Ireland on being acknowledged it is a great honour and very well deserved. Well done.
Regards
Brett Middleton
Congratulations, Lorraine, from all at WPLFC on this wonderful recognition by the NMCA. Well Deserved for your many years of service to both Club and community.
