Laurie Tilley bailed me into a corner after that year and said your social secretary and my involvement started on the committee in 1989. After 8 years as President and 5 before that as secretary I have decided to step down this year and allow new ideas as well as improve the leadership and have people devoted to looking after our partners and members. I will be shadowing John as he gets a feel for the role as President and I believe the people selected on this year’s committee are the most talented we could appoint and will take the club into the future we great enthusiasm
