Our ground, located at Northcote Park in Westgarth St Northcote, is one of the best grounds in the Northern Football League. In 2000, the Darebin City Council named the ground Bill Lawry Oval. Bill Lawry was for many years a resident of Darebin and is a highly decorated and successful cricketer. He represented and captained Northcote, Victoria and Australia. He has a distinguished career as a cricketer, cricket administrator, sporting commentator and personality.
NPFC moved to Westgarth Street in 1988 and have been both successful and competitive since. Together with the wide expanses of Bill Lawry Oval, the grandstand and the Arthur Spain scoreboard, Bill Lawry Oval will take you back in time.
In summer it is used by Northcote in the Victorian Cricket Association. The Council provide a full time curator to ensure the ground is in tip top condition. There is a grandstand and the surrounds are landscaped. Cars are not permitted into the ground on Match Days except for service vehicles.
The phone/fax number for the ground is 9486-7811
The Melway reference is: Map 30 G11
