Week 1 - Semi Final Week
What a great start to the final series for our Under 13 and Under 15 teams. Both teams played in the 2nd semi-final to qualify for the Grand Final on August 21.
On a wet and cold day, both teams played hard tough football, and showed why they have both been the best side in their respective competitions.
Congratulations to Ayhan, Matti, Carlo and Saj for their hard work and commitment to date, booking a date for Grand Final glory.

This round see the season come to end for our U10's and U13's White teams. I would like to take the opportunity to thank the coaching staff from both teams for a tremendous effort during at time a difficult season.
Well done to the U13's Red and U15's for finishing the season on top of their respective ladders and we are looking forward to hopefully 2 grand final appearances and 2 more premierships. A majority of the players in both teams are gearing up for back to back premierships and Coach Carlo of the U15's looking a being a dual premiership coach. Coach Ayhan (Malthouse) and Matti (Buckley) are looking at grabbing their first premierships so from me and the committee good luck to all concerned in the next 3 weeks.

Round 10 Results 26 JUNE 2011
Great weekend results for 3 of the 4 teams competing and the season is really starting to shape up for the U13 Red and U15 teams. The U10 team played the best football that I had seen all year, blasting the opposition out of the blocks from the first bounce. Well done to the whole team, the season is still alive and well for your group. The U13 White team, also put in a great effort against the top side and yard stick of the competition even though the scoreboard doesn't show it. The U13 Red played a tremendous first quarter against the howling wind to show that they are a class act this season and the U15 team smashed the unbackable favourite by nearly 10 goals to gain top spot for the first time this season. Well done to all the teams this weekend.

The Junior drought is over 2010 Premiers U13 & U17
After a long period without success at the Lalor Football Club, finally the premiership drought is over. The Under 13’s team led by captains Mohammad Debab and James Derui and guided by coach Carlo Derui ensured that the flag was coming home to Lalor. It was a great team effort, but special mention must go to Bradley Ioannidis who single handed negated Keon Park most dangerous player, Bradley in my eyes, should have been awarded best on ground medal.
The Under 17’s team led by captains Nathan Kardakovski and Adem Gravina-Ates and guided by coaches Pino Furlano and Steve Kretevski made sure this flag was coming back to Lalor. In tough conditions the team totally outclassed their opposition in all areas. Spencer Christopher was awarded the best on ground medal, and special mention to Julian Terzioski and Frankie Furlano sealing the game beyond doubt.
The club is proud of all players and support staff and this accomplishment could not have been achieved without the dedication of all involved in this great club.
