CODE OF CONDUCT FOR OFFICIALS, PLAYERS AND SUPPORTERS
The Springvale Districts Football Club takes pride in being recognized as a family club where supporters, players and visitors can come together and enjoy what the club has to offer, both competitively and socially.
To ensure we achieve this goal we are all required to observe the following club “guidelines for expected behaviour”.
RESPECT FOR OTHERS
The clubrooms and surrounds are a community sporting facility that exists for the enjoyment of all. It is expected that those who use and attend the facilities show total mutual respect to all others.
PERSONAL BEHAVIOUR
As an official, supporter or player, you represent the club, be it “on or off the field”. It is expected that you be responsible and accountable for your behaviour and actions and ensure that you do not bring the clubs name into disrepute.
CLUBROOMS
The clubrooms are the focal point for us to enjoy our sporting and social activities and as such, due regard must be given to maintaining the clubrooms & amenities for the enjoyment of all. Responsible conduct is expected at all times as well as ensuring that the clubrooms and associated fixtures are respected and properly maintained.
RESPONSIBLE SERVING OF ALCOHOL (RSA)
The club is committed to Vic Health’s “Good Sports” RSA program and as such, the bar manager is responsible for the adherence to our liquor license provisions and the serving of alcohol. Your responsible conduct in regard to your consumption of alcohol is expected at all times, especially in respect of drink driving. The bar manager is available to assist in ordering a taxi and safe keeping of your vehicle keys. Your behaviour whilst in a taxi once collected from the club is reflected on the club and its members.
