Nigel Scott was presented with the Dave Hall medal at the 2008 presentation night last Friday. Nigel stormed home in the second half of the season to poll 17 votes, 3 clear of Waata Wells on 14, with brother Brad finishing 3rd on 13 votes.
In accepting the medal, Nigel documented his journey from an outstanding junior at the club, to his career in the bush and success with Noble Park. He also acknowledged the support of his long term sponsor, Jamie Young.
The Keith Keatinge trophy for the reserves best and fairest was shared between first year player Marc Fullarton and Luke Swan. Marc has played in the ruck most of the year against far bigger and more seasoned opponent, and has left them in his wake. Luke has finally recovered from a debilitating arm injury, and is expected to return to senior football in 2009.
