The boys in a good mood after the match.
A nine goal opening quarter set the scene for the day as the coach challenged our boys to be ruthless. Although our opposition was undermanned our challenge for the day was to do things we wanted to do well. To the Bears credit the fought hard in the second quarter, earning our lads the coached ire at the main break.

Our mongrel returned in the third term with a blistering 12 goal onslaught. They were queuing up to get on the board with Clint and Danny Atkin super in the air and Gav supreme everywhere. It was pleasing that we did not relent with another 11 majors in the final term. Gav kicked 6 for the quarter to take his match tally to twelve in a virtuoso performance. Clint snuck under the radar with 6 goals and Danny Atkin 5. The backline was miserable and well led by Leighton and Steve, whilst the midfield provided plenty of supply.

Overall, we did what we had to do, and did it pretty well.
The reserves also had a comfortable win with the clubs second best red headed goal kicker Paul Riley kicking 11. Ben Williams snuck in for 5, whilst Paul Norman, Marc Fullarton and Louis Zammit were among the best.
