The Bundoora Junior Football Club is located in Bundoora in Melbourne's Diamond Valley.
The club services the local community and plays it's home matches at Telfer Reserve - Greenwood Drive, Bundoora.
It all began back in 1961 when the South Morang / Bundoora Football Club, which at that time played in the Diamond Valley League, decided to sponsor an Under 13 team in the Preston District Football Association.
In 1964 the Preston District Association required our junior team(s) to become a club in our own right as they would no longer accept junior teams being run by an 'open age' club.
Matches were first played at the Repatriation Hospital football oval but over the ensuing years our ground was changed three times. Our first move was to Telfer Reserve which at that time was not in its present location and which became the site for Noorong Hall, then to Mont Park and finally to our present location at the new Telfer Reserve.
The move to our present location saw the real growth of our club and our membership increased dramatically to the point that we boasted over 200 registered players in 1976.
Our membership has remained strong throughout the 80's & 90's and continues to do so today.
Due to our healthy financial position together with the introduction of player merchandise we have been able to keep our fees to a minimum.
