The North Brunswick Football Club survives primarily due to parent volunteers.
Parents and friends of current junior players take on the roles within the club that allow our children to play on the field each week.
Roles include Committee members, the coaching staff, the running of the canteen and every official job that must be filled on match day – runner, trainer, boundary umpire, goal umpire, water carrier, interchange steward, umpire escort, time keeper etc.
We have a wonderful group of parent volunteers that help ensure the club and all matches run smoothly, however, we are always seeking new volunteers to help around the club in any capacity.
To do so, it is a requirement not only by law, but within the organisation itself, that all volunteers within the North Brunswick Junior Football Club must have a current and satisfactory approved Working with Children Check.
The Working with Children (WWC) Check is a legal requirement that helps protect children from physical and sexual harm. It assesses a person’s suitability to work with children for those undertaking paid or voluntary child-related work in Victoria.
WWC Check cards are valid for 5 years unless revoked by the department.
Further details available here.
Please note that registration is FREE OF CHARGE for all volunteers. Simply name the North Brunswick Junior Football Club as your voluntary organisation.
