HEAT POLICY Extreme.
As advised by Diamond Valley Basketball Association (DVBA).
Where the court temperature reaches 35 Degrees -Referee Supervisors are to implement the following rules:
Additional time out at the 9 minute mark of both the first and second half, when the game consists of two 18 minute halves.
Additional time out at the 10 minute mark of both the first and second half, when the game consists of two 20 minute halves.
Where the court temperature reaches 40 Degrees - Games must be abandoned , subject to any rule or ruling by the competitions manager:
(i) If the game is abadoned before it commences or before half time, it is counted as a draw;
(ii) If the game is abandoned after half time, the games score stands as a final result.
