Riddells Creek pushed through less than favourable conditions with the wind and sun glare to cement a confident win over a spirited Melton Centrals outfit.
Riddell did what was needed to be done and did put together enough consistency to ensure that they pushed the lead out during every quarter. A fire up from Jaz at half time to give more, lift more and find some intencity and something to play for payed dividends with a damaging 15 to quarter. The girls continued to push and finished off Centrals who provided a strong fight until the end.

V. Melton Centrals
On Saturday we played 7th placed Melton Centrals. Our defenders were on fire and they ensured that the Central shooters could only manage one goal per quarter and 2 in the last. This was quite impressive by our strong defenders. Our mid courters yet again worked the ball down the court ensuring our shooters were fed the ball with some magnificent passes to shoot a total of 33 goals at the final whistle.
Every week these girls get better and better!! Continue to work as a team and you will reap the benefits down the track where it matters. Well done girls it was a great team effort!!
Also well done to Becky Andrew and Sam Allen who played a solid half each in “B” grade, you both held your own and were quite impressive. Also to our Kira Baldwin who played in our A grade side and was awesome yet again. Great effort girls!! It’s great to see our young girls are given this opportunity to play up when required, so well done Senior coaches for allowing this.
