Formed in 1918, Rockbank competed in the old Bacchus Marsh League where the club was successful in this period, winning seven premierships prior to the league disbanding in 1972. Rockbank reformed as a junior club in 1993, and then fielded a senior side in the following years in the Footscray District Football League. Now in the Riddell District Football League (RDFL) for over 10 years.
The Rockbank Rams FSC is determined to continue its hard work to ensure the club has continued growth and becomes the benchmark for sporting clubs in the region. The strength of the Rockbank FSC is the diversity amongst the ranks.
Rockbank has enjoyed Junior Premierships in all grades in the RDFL, as well as being competitive with several of our teams making appearances in finals. The club is working hard to continue the improvement and growth within the club and lead our teams to the next level, consistent and sustained finals performances.
Positioned between growing Melton and sprawling Western Suburbs, Rockbank still retains its rural feel with a small population and a makeup of people in all surrounding suburbs who volunteer and work hard to contribute towards the club. With the future land development and population growth through the area and the growth corridor in Melton Council over the next few years, the club is in an exciting position which is something that we are all extremely excited about.
A partnership with local business is something the club appreciates and doesn’t take for granted. It is the way that our businesses can contribute to the community and in return the club can promote and acknowledge the businesses and give back in some way or another in return.
We hope you can join the Rockbank Sporting Club through our Partnership Packages and help the kids and young adults of the area in being active and involved with sport and keeping Rockbank alive.
