In a nail biting finish The Burra's got over Kilmore by the narrowest of margins on Saturday.Kilmore forward Ryan Strayney was causing the Burra's plenty of head aches and the Blues midfield were keeping the Burra's playmakers under control. The lead changed several times throughout the match and victory was there for the taking until the final seconds. Both sides failed to capitalise on opportunities late in the final quarter, with a snap from Mick Kilty being enough to give the Burra's the edge.Once again the Burra's were well lead by Jezza with good back up support from Will Grant,Cole Laurie and Dave Tyquin. The pleasing part about the last two weeks has been that the team has fought tirelessly when challenged and are playing with a never say die attitude. 2nd's FIGHT BACK STRONGLY A 5 goal to 1 last quarter was what the 2nds needed to secure victory.Kilmore were dominant early and the 2nd's reign on top was looking to be short lived. But in the last quarter the team found the spark they were looking for.Marty Weaver was proving to be a strong target up foward, creating opportunities for those around him.Once again Webby worked tirelessly and Chewy continued his good form on return from injury and is sure to presss for senior selection.
