The Woodend Hesket Football Netball Club are looking for enthusiastic, passionate and club orientated
coaches to develop our netball squads in 2017, including;
A grade/head coach,
B, C and 19/u grade coaches
- Playing and non-playing roles will be considered.
The club is affiliated with the Riddell District Football Netball League and has enjoyed a fantastic
season, both on and off the court in 2016. The WHFNC is a very proud family and community based club, with a strong emphasis on harnessing and developing local talent.
We have a reinvigorated relationship between the football, netball and junior departments and are looking forward to seeing our young talented stars continue to come through the senior grades in
years to come.
The club has been very proactive over the past year with many notable improvements to our playing lists & facilities. We have enjoyed recent funding announcements for further facility upgrades & have focused on moving forward as ‘One Club’. Our members hard working efforts have been rewarded as we have recently been awarded the 2016 RDNFL Club of the Year, which we are very
proud of.
Notably our home matches have been much improved this year with a newly constructed football ground and new netball court surface. In addition, we have court side storage, enclosed change and
shelter areas with concrete flooring & heating and there’s more to come with lighting upgrades, new purpose built change rooms and a new dress design on their way. Our regular social events have
also been very popular and hugely successful and 2017 looks set to be the best yet!
The ideal candidates will have:
* Prior coaching experience.
* Good communication and leadership skills & a positive attitude.
* A strong emphasis on player development & support and,
* A cooperative approach to working with their fellow coaches & Netball administration.
A competitive Remuneration Package for the A grade/Head Coach Role is offered, along with a strong and supportive netball & football administration who will work closely with the coaches to
achieve a positive environment in which to work.
