The Western Jets scored their second win in a row and their third for the season when they overcame a tough Northern Territory outfit at Burbank oval on Saturday.
It was tight for much of the game with teams only separated by a point at quarter time and 2 points at half time. Both teams had opportunities to take control of the match with neither side being successful. Fitzpatrick was providing a strong target up forward for the Jets, while Schroder, Robbins and Banner were doing well in the midfield.
The third term was similar to the opening half. Neither team really got the ascendancy but the Jets were able to stretch the 3 quarter time margin to 9 points.
The Jets kicked the first couple in the last quarter to establish a match winning break, the final margin being 34 points. Fitzpatrick was good up forward with 7 goals. Banner was also good with 3 goals and 26 possessions and Jayden Post was solid across Centre Half Back.
