Eastern Ranges seek an U18 TAC Cup Head of Athlete Management.
The U18 TAC Cup Head of Athlete Management must design, prescribe & administer programs specific to player/athlete role, abilities and expertise in collaboration with other coaching staff for the entirety of the program.
Primary Roles and Responsibilities
- Responsible for all players/athletes to optimize their individual athlete performance;
- Consult and liaise with all coaching staff, trainers, medical staff inside and outside academy physiotherapists, exercise physiologists, dieticians, psychologists etc.
- Administer baseline fitness testing pre, during and post conclusion of program. Testing to demonstrate an array of fitness attributes including speed, strength, power, endurance, agility etc in line with AFL Combine Fitness Testing protocols.
- Collaborate with other coaching staff to designate players/athletes to appropriate training groups based on fitness results and skills.
- Design and administer appropriate player injury rehabilitation programs.
- Provide players/athletes with fundamental nutrition education and recovery education
- Create positive rapport and trust with all players/athletes with an expectation for maximum commitment and effort from all players/athletes and yourself.
