The TAC Cup has again rubber stamped itself as Australia's premier football development pathway.
12 of the 22 AFL All-Australians named last night were products of the TAC Cup, Victoria's Under-18 competition.
AFL Victoria Chief Executive Officer Peter Schwab was delighted with the strength of the TAC Cup contingent in the AFL'S team of the year.
The TAC Cup is a proven pathway for young footballers to the elite level," Schwab said.
The TAC Cup is a vital component in the development of young footballers as it offers significant guidance, professionalism and support.
"It is a credit to the players selected that they have used the TAC Cup as a springboard to forge successful careers at the elite level."
