As part of the TAC initiative program this year the Northern Knights continued their tradition of having players drive to an away game in country Victoria. The boys were asked to make the trip down the Princes Freeway for our Round 6 clash against the Geelong Falcons on Saturday 4th May. The activity was well supported with a large number of players in the squad taking part. The club arranged a meeting point 20 minutes outside of Geelong for players to stop and break up the drive.
This TAC Initiative provided an opportunity for all ‘L’ Plate drivers from the Knights, to gain over an hour’s driving experience in a range of various driving conditions, they experienced both city streets and country highways, on their journey from metropolitan Melbourne to Geelong.
