VALE MATT RATCLIFFE
NAROOMA LIONS MEMBER, PLAYER AND FOUNDATION AUSKICK COACH MATT RATCLIFFE PASSED AWAY ON FRIDAY 8 MAY 2015, AFTER A LONG ILLNESS FIGHTING MOTOR NEURONE DISEASE. HE WAS A GREAT BLOKE AND COMMUNITY PERSON FOR THE WHOLE TOWNSHIP OF NAROOMA AND WILL BE GREATLY AND SADLY MISSED. HE LOVED AFL AND WAS A GREAT SUPPORTER FOR THE CLUB, WHERE ONE MINUTE SILENCE WAS HELD ON SATURDAY 9 MAY AND BLACK ARM BANDS WORN FOR ALL GRADES. HE WAS ALSO AN ADELAIDE CROWS SUPPORTER AND WAS AT ONE TIME THEIR OFFICIAL MASCOT. VALE MATT!!!!!

Welcome to the Narooma Lions AFL Club.
First formed as a club in November 1983, and began playing their first official football season in 1984 incorporated with the Sapphire Coast Australian Football League(SCAFL).

The Narooma Lions AFL Club is up and running for the 2015 season. We have Seniors, U16, U13 (boys and girls), U11 and Auskick.
Training for all grades is Tuesdays and Thursdays at Bill Smyth Oval, Narooma, and we welcome you.
The Narooma Lions is a family friendly, community Football Club. So whether you are new to the town, new to the game or just missed a season or two, come on down for a run and a kick or join us and watch a game of live AFL!
