Ably led by Dan and Mick Corcoran, Tom Williams, Captain Tom Retallack and the goal kicking spree of Joel Fleming, the Inverell Saints jumped the Roos early and never let them into game at any stage.
Fleming, who kicked 8 goals for the day, was in magnificent form. He continually offered himself as a target and certainly was one of the many standout performers in the Grand Final.
Dan Corcoran and Alex Dasey were the driving force in the midfield while Tom Williams dominated the centre breaks. Joe and Sam Kimmince were also standouts during the afternoon as the frustration of the Roos steadily grew.
Simply, the Saints were totally focused and committed to getting the ball and not focusing on their opponent. When a bit of niggle crept into the game our boys were rock solid in their discipline and, unlike a fortnight ago, were not intimidated.
The Roos staged a minor comeback late in the match but the result was beyond doubt.

It is fantastic to see the Juniors secure the Club its' first TAFL premiership as this will hopefully encourage them to pursue a Seniors berth in future years.
This result should teach us a lot about what we can achieve if we truly put out heart and souls in to something.
Congratulations to Coach Darren Bailey and his squad of `PREMIERSHIP PLAYERS'. Your commitment has been rewarded.
Again thank you to all the parents, supporters and senior players who made the trip to Armidale for the game. It was bloody terrific - great way to end the year.
Hope to see you at Presentation Night on Saturday 23rd of September. Junior Vote Count begins at 6:00pm sharp.
