Inverell Saints have flogged the Muswellbrook Cats at Werriman Oval on Saturday to the tune of 120 points in Round 6 action of the T.A.F.L Competition
Led by first year player Hayden Chappel and Russ Brien, the undermanned Saints dominated from the outset kicking 12 goals in each half to win 24.25.169 to 7.7.49.
The win could have been bigger if not for inaccurate kicking.
Saints Coach Jason Gobbert says he was satisfied with the win adding the hard training run during the week paid good dividends
The only sour note for the Saints was the loss of full forward Mike Gould who injured his ankle early in the game and did not take further part in the rampage.
Gould will be sorely missed if he is not fit for this Saturdays top of the table clash against the New England Nomads at Varley Oval on Saturday
