Inverell Saints AFL club held a successful AGM on Saturday with new blood set to lead the Club in 2021.
Nathan Hughes was elected unopposed as the new Club President, taking over from long serving President Jason Gobbert.
Dallas Baldwin was elected unopposed as the new Vice President replacing Chris Pay while Secretary Courtney Pay, Treasurer Paul Pay and Media Office Gerry Taveira were reelected to their positions.
Hughes says the major focus next season will be to support the continued growth of the club from the ground up after a challenging year adding the Club will be aiming to increase their depth and once again put competitive teams on the park in all grades.
He says the new committee has huge shoes to fill after the departure of Jason Gobbert who has been significant in the clubs growth and success.
All players and committee are indebted to the dedication of the Gobbert family who have nurtured the Club from strength to strength. On behalf of the Saints we wish them nothing but the best on their new venture
Coaches are expected to be formalized in January while a possible local AFL 9s competition was also discussed for the new year but this will be confirmed in the new year.
Good luck Pup and Punchy!!!
