The Inverell Saints have held their annual Presentation Night with the awards recognising the hard work of all players. The main feature of the night was the Best and Fairest Count, which went right down to the wire, with three players still in the hunt heading into the last round. As it turned out, for the first time in the Saints short history, Chris Whitton and Jono Elphick finished equal on top with 39 points, closely followed by Alex Dasey with 33 points.
It was a successful night for Whitton, who also took out the Pewter Mug after having his name on it 3 times for the year. Kye Bailey was awarded most determined, which was only fitting for the amount of time and effort he has put into training this year. The Coaches Award and Most Consistent was won by Darren Pithers and the Highest Goal Kicker was Mick Viney. Nick Baird was awarded Player of the Finals.
There was also special awards handed out to the 6 players who played their 50th games this year - Mick VIney, Gary Hadland, Peter Dunlop, Shaun Mansbridge, Bruce Wall and Matt Harrison.
