The Inverell Saints will make the short trip down the road to Armidale to take on the New England Nomads this Saturday. Fresh from a strong performance last week, the Saints will be keen to continue with their good form. The Nomads have had an indifferent start to the year, but have the potential to take down the best teams in the league.
The Saints will enter the match relatively change free. Fraser Hughes and Dave Kent both have other commitments and Chris Pay was a late scratching after failing a fishing test. Kye Bailey returns, along with Ruckman Sam Kimmince who has recovered from a back injury. Nathan Munro will make his second appearance for the season. The fact that the Saints have made only 3 changes to last week's side is a major boost to stability and the most settled line up all year. Justin Pay will once again start in the ruck with Jono Elphick and Tom Williams working at his feet. Mick Viney will be looking to continue his good form at full forward and Joe Kimmince will again lead the defense at full back.
This promises to be a cracker of a game with the run and pace of the Nomads sure to trouble the Saints. The contest is sure to be fierce and should be a very close result at the sound of the full time siren.
Players are reminded to be at the ground no later than 1.00pm.
