The deal, effective from today, will see the club sponsored by the Royal Club Hotel for the next three years. Club President, Gerry Taveira, says the deal secures the club for the next three seasons and will enable the team to move into the 2008 season full of confidence. The Saints won the 2007 Tamworth AFL Premiership in September and it is likely there will be minimal changes to its senior list in 2008. Joint coaches Shaun Mansfield and Dick Gleeson are looking forward to the club defending its Premiership title in 2008 and are aiming for back to back premierships. The club's first official function at its new home - the Royal Club Hotel - will be its Annual General Meeting set down for November 25th at 3pm. Club President Gerry Taveira has quashed speculation that he will be standing down as club president at the AGM by declaring his intention to seek re-election.
