Since that huge loss the cats have regained their early season form with thumping wins over the Gunnedah Bulldogs in Gunnedah by 70 points and over the New England Nomads by 71 points in last Saturday's semi-final in Muswellbrook. The Cats are finals specialists and some of the Cats big guns including this years TAFL leading goal kicker Stuart McAdam and Adam White, a previous TAFL rep player, have hit form at the right end of the season. McAdam kicked 6 goals last Saturday in a match winning performance whilst Whitey controlled the centre clearances.
The Inverell Saints will train on Tuesday and Thursday night before naming its team for the major semi final. The prize for the winner of this match is the hosting of the 2007 Grand Final on September 22nd. The Saints will be looking for a big crowd and home ground advantage to get them over the line; this will be the clubs hardest game of the season.
