The other games see the Nomads at home to the Roos. After the bye and some rough handling at the hands of the Saints, it will be interesting to see how Starry has prepared his troops for this clash. Tony Bishops Roos have been hot and cold and need to travel to Armidale feeling confident that they can give the Nomads a good shake on their home ground. Not having Dan Overeem available due to suspension could hurt though. Nomads in a close one.
The Dogs make the long trip down to Muswellbrook facing the same prospect that they have each away game, with skinny numbers. Not being able to put the same team on the paddock has hurt the Dogs this year and cost them more than one victory. The Cats will be looking to bounce back after last weeks dented pride. Cats too strong at home, but Dogs will make a fight of it.
The Eagles face their second road trip in as many weeks and come up against a Swans team who played well in patches last week before being over-run. If the Eagles travel light they will find it hard to match the Swans whose younger players are gaining in confidence and experience each week. Home ground advnatage and a poor travelling record says Swans for their first win of the year.
Disko should return next week.
Cheers TC
