The game was effectively over by quarter time as the Saints began 2015 with a 10 goal surge to lead by 65 points at the first change.
Led by Russ Brien with 10 goals and Keiran Te Velde with 5, the Saints again slotted another 10 goals in the second term to lead the Suns by 130 points by the major break.
The debutants all played their part in the decisive win with Kyle Payne, Cameron Turner and twins Brennan and Bailey Cosgrove playing pivotal roles.
The Cosgrove boys debuts were so impressive, they were named in the Saints best on the day while another youngster Damon Harrison impressed with his work on the wing.
The only sour note was the injury to Lachie McDonald who is now in doubt for the Nomads game. He came off late in the game with a groin complaint.
Coach Hayden Chappell was delighted with the win but stressed there is still lots of work to do if they're to match the likes of the Nomads and the Tamworth Kangaroos.
It sets up the big match next Saturday against the New England Nomads at Varley Oval.
It's a big day for the Saints as the Club will also hold it Sponsors evening where current, former and potential sponsors have the chance to bid for the remaining Saints home games for 2015.
The Sponsors Night will start at 5:30 for 6pm.
