The Inverell Saints have shown no ill effect from not having a match last week after belting the Gunnedah Bulldogs by 69 points at Wolsely Oval in Gunnedah.
The Saints started brilliantly with an 7 goal first quarter and were never headed, going onto win 22.14.146 to 11.11.77
Matt King had a day out in front of goal, booting five majors while Mike Gould kicked four goals. The Saints had 10 separate goal kickers in their confidence boosting win.
Coach Jason Gobbert was pleased and relieved to get the four points considering the Bulldogs on home territory have troubled the Saints in recent encounters
Last years Grand finalists will now prepare for their first home game of the season this weekend against the Tamworth Swans
