The two form sides of the competition will go head to head on Saturday when the Saints host the top of the table Tamworth Swans. The game is a must win for both teams with the Saints looking to consolidate third spot on the table and the Swans top spot. When these two clubs met in Tamworth in round two it was a tough no holds barred encounter in what many have described as one of the best games of the year. Both clubs are coming off strong wins last week and will be looking to continue that form on Saturday. Coach Dick Gleeson says the Saints will need to "switch on" for four quarters if they are to beat the Swans who play a hard game. Inverell's pace in the wide open spaces of Varley Oval should give the Saints the edge in a close game.
In other matches this weekend, the improving Narrabri are at home to the Tamworth Kangaroos and Gunnedah host Muswellbrook Cats.
