The Saints have a crucial month ahead with four out of its last six home and away games for the season at home. In only its second season in the TAFL the club is currently fourth on the table with a real chance of securing third spot and a home semi-final. The Saints committee have announced that should the team have a home final it will be played under lights. The club will face a danger game this weekend against the Narrabri Eagles and will be lifted by the news that its star forward Mick Viney will play. Saints captain Fraser Hughes says Viney "hates missing a game" and he will take his place in the side. Viney along with Dave Kent and Shaun Mansbridge sustained injuries in the Interleague carnival on the long weekend but are all expected to take their place in the side.
In other games The Nomads play the Tamworth Swans and the Kangaroos take on Gunnedah.
