The Inverell Saints have qualified for their 5th consecutive TAFL Grand Final and here's a look at the players in line to play on Saturday against the Tamworth Kangaroos.
1 - Hamish Bird - 2011 Games - 12, 2011 Goals - 6
A Rugby Union convert, Hamish has taken to the game of Aussie Rules like a duck to water. Depite his age and size, he has no problems taking it up to the bigger men and has proved to be quite the goal sneek when needed.
2 - Mike Gould - 2011 Games - 10, 2011 Goals - 32
Came over from WA mid season, Mike has been a huge player for the Saints across half froward. A great set of hands and an accurate kick, he has been an integral part of the Saints campaign.
4 - Peter Dunlop - 2011 Games - 14, 2011 Goals - 6
One of the Saints originals, Dunny has taken his game to another level this season, getting roles in the midfield, attack and defense. His running game will be crucial to the Saints on Saturday.
5 - Mick Corcoran - 2011 Games - 5, 2011 Goals - 2
Corco has been a Saint for 6 years, coming through the Juniors competition and honing his skills as an undersized midfielder. Very quick and can hit a target off the left or right, he'll be important on Saturday.
6 - Russell Brien - 2011 Games - 14, 2011 Goals - 15
Rusty is another Rugby convert and after experiencing sucess with the Highlanders has come across to the Saints this year with great success. Burst onto the scene with a great first game and hasn't looked back since.
7 - Brendan Simpson - 2011 Games - 15, 2011 Goals - 1
Another new recruit, Simmo has yet to miss a game this year. He has developed his skills and works hard up and down the wings. His run will be needed on Saturday.
10 - Nick Baird - 2011 Games - 10, 2011 Goals - 16
The coach who can only keep his spot because he is a selector. The only thing we know for certain is that he will use plenty of tape to get himself on the field on Saturday.
12 - Toby Tollis - 2011 Games - 9, 2011 Goals - 2
Another youngster in his first year of AFL, Toby has made his mark with great improvements in his kicking and awareness around the ball. Will be a massive part of the Saints for years to come.
14 - Scott Fermor - 2011 Games - 12, 2011 Goals - 5
A new comer to the Saints, Scotty has been played down back and in attack for great success. Kicked the first two last Saturday and got the Saints going.
16 - Keiran Te Velde - 2011 Games - 10, 2011 Goals - 0
An integral part of the Saints midfield, KJ has been huge for the Saints of late, getting the types of unselfish jobs coaches love to give. The unsung hero of the Saints.
17 - Joe Kimmince - 2011 Games - 13, 2011 Goals - 4
Joey must go away from selection nights straching his head at times, as he is the Saints Mr Fix-it, usually given the job the Saints need done the most. Great team player.
18 - Stewart Walker - 2011 Games - 6, 2011 Goals - 18
Another bloke he gets thrown into different positions, Stew has been dynamic at forward of late, kicking crucial goals and taking some strong marks.
19 - Chris Schneider - 2011 Games - 4, 2011 Goals - 0
Schneids is another newcomer to the Saints and AFL, but has been outstanding in that short time. A tough rugged defender, he doesn't give away any easy kicks.
20 - Matt Harrison - 2011 Games - 14, 2011 Goals - 0
Another Saints original, the old stager keeps on producing on the biggest stage. A very versatile defender, he will end up marking one of the smalls or the bigs this weekend.
21 - Jono Elphick - 2011 Games - 10, 2011 Goals - 1
Jono has had another outstanding year for the Saints, marshalling the troops across half back. A courageous mark and accurate kick, he will be the Saints barometer on Saturday.
22 - Fraser Hughes - 2011 Games - 7, 2011 Goals - 2
Cruelly suffered an injury on Saturday, but will not be written off until the last moment. His experience and calmness under pressure is integral to the Saints backline.
23 - Chris Whitton - 2011 Games - 15, 2011 Goals - 48
The Captain has been the Saints higest goal scorer this year, mainly because of his refusal to off load a handball in the forward half of the ground. Super player who has had arguably his best year of AFL footy.
26 - David Vidovic - 2011 Games - 14, 2011 Goals - 1
Viddo has a huge engine and will run all day Saturday. He will be called upon to pick up a job defensively and never lets the team down.
27 - Jospeh Brynes - 2011 Games - 11, 2011 Goals - 0
Joey has had a strong second year in Saints colours and is knocking on the door for selection this week. His run and carry across half back and the wing will be needed on the small Tamworth ground.
30 - Leigh Turner - 2011 Games - 7, 2011 Goals - 3
Big bad Leroy has been a late season pick up for the Saints after moving north with work. Hadn't played the game for nearly 10 years but has slotted back into the groove fantastically well.
32 - Sam Kimmince - 2011 Games - 13, 2011 Goals - 0
The Unit has become the cornerstone of the Saints defense. Playing a hard and uncomprimising game across half back, he will be called upon to take on a big defensive job.
34 - Gary Hadland - 2011 Games - 14, 2011 Goals - 24
The big marn who bleeds red, black and white. Been with the Saints since day one and can break a game open in 5 minutes. Look for him to have a big game.
35 - Justin Pay - 2011 Games - 15 - 2011 Goals - 2
Justo has slotted into the role of ruck rover superbly this season. Started the season as the starting ruckman but has created a whole new dimension to his game. Has had a great year.
36 - Corey Borthwick - 2011 Games - 13, 2011 Goals - 1
Bortho started the year as a defender, progressed the midfield and noe has a spot on the wing all to himself. Can run all day and is able to hit a target from 60 away.
37 - Chris Pay - 2011 Games - 15, 2011 Goals - 0
Big Chriso has taken his game to a new level in 2011. Found himslef mid season playing 100 minutes of football and has improved his skills and nous for the game out of sight.
