The St Kilda Sharks recognise how much extra commitment is required by those who try out for the VWFL State Team. In 2011 the Sharks created a State Scholarship Fund of $1000 to provide some financial support to those Sharkers that make the state team and assist with costs to compete at this level of football. The fund is to be equally split between those players that make the team in any given year and distributed by the comittee once selection has been advised.
