Veteran Shark Marnie 'DJ' Rosenberg joined the sharks at the beginning of the 2000 season after getting in contact with the VFL, who referred her to Ben, the senior coach of the St Kilda Sharks at the time. Marnie was elected captain in 2002 and was extremely proud to hold up the Premiership Cup with Belinda 'Blouse' Bowey (coach/player) in 2004. She remained the Sharks captain up until 2006 when she decided to take a break from the game. Her decision to return to the club in 2010 delighted all those involved with the club. Marnie is a well respected player for the Sharks and continues to be a fantastic leader both on and off the field! When asked Marnie said that she feels honoured to be a Shark and is so grateful to everyone who has helped her reach this amazing milestone. We wish her well on her 150th game for St Kilda and hope there's many more to come!
