In 2010 the Committee unanimously voted that the prestigious Seniors B&F medal should be named the Ian Plummer Medal. It was many years ago that Ian saw that the kids growing up playing junior football in Kenmore would not have a pathway to continue with, so he sat down with some mates and started the Kenmore Seniors Football Club in 1997. It was very appropriate that in naming the award, that on the night Ian was able to hang the inaugural medal around his son's neck when Simon Plummer who played his heart out all season won the B&F medal.
