Parents

As a parent, it is important that encouragement is offered to all children. This is essential as Basketball is a team sport and does not just involve your child. If parents have any issues, it is best to speak to the Coach involved with your team, or you may speak to an Apollos Committee Member. It is not the coach's responsibility to keep parents under control and behaving appropriately.

 APOLLOS DOES NOT TOLERATE RUDE, AGGRESSIVE OR INAPPROPRIATE BEHAVIOUR BY ANY MEMBER AT ANY TIME.

 

 Player Requirements

All players will need to purchase the Willetton Basketball shorts from the Stadium office for $28.00. These are compulsory and penalties will apply if players are out of uniform. The Apollos Basketball Club supply the playing tops on loan, which are collected by the team manager at the end of the season. No earrings are permitted when playing basketball and must be removed along with any other jewellery, prior to the commencement of the game or be sufficiently taped. Long hair must be tied up with a high ponytail only. Braids and plaits are not allowed, to prevent fingers getting caught.

Apollos encourages players to enjoy playing Basketball, whilst respecting the roles of the Referee's, their Opponents, Coach's and Team Managers. Good on and off court behaviour is a MUST.
