All the information you need to register with us can be found below. Team registration occurs in Mid-March each year, please ensure you register with us before then.
Game Rules
Rules for each age group have been established to ensure the best possible journey for young players to progress their learning and development towards the adult version of the game. For example, there is no tackle in Auskick Pro’s and for Under 9s there is a modified tackle.
For all age groups, umpires are instructed to protect all players at all times, specifically in relation to high contact. General rules for each age group can be found by clicking on the relevant age group under the ‘Teams’ Tab at the top of the page.
Tuggeranong Bulldogs Kick Start Program
Here at the Bulldogs we understand that sport can be expensive, so we offer a Kick Start Program to encourage as many children as possible to play AFL.
To be eligible for the program there is just three simple criteria:
- The child must want to have fun and play AFL at a Club with a great community atmosphere.
- The child cannot have been registered with any other AFL Club in the past two years.
- The child and their family want to be a part of a great Club.

Auskick Program
Each player receives an Auskick pack from the AFL, this is delivered to the mailing address provided in the player registration.
Auskick Rookies
A 10-week program that runs during Term 2 of each school year.
Auskick Pro's
The 2020 season is due to commence in April/May 2020.
Junior/Youth Football
The 2020 season is due to commence in April/May 2020. The mixed competition is played on Saturday and the Girls Only competition is played on Sunday.
Family Registration does not include Auskick players as their registration is managed separately and their fees include the Auskick pack.
Payment
You will be required to make payment online at the time of registration. For insurance purposes, all players must be registered prior to taking the field.
