... "Minus the obvious talent, I think this could be very much like Shane Warne's record for most test wickets! I'm sure that Jim Rice and/or Jay Kickett will be jumping ahead of me in the not distant future and that's fantastic. I'm tremendously honoured to hold the record for most first grade games, even if it is only for a short time. Luke Jess was an inspirational leader around the club and a player I always admired. It's a tremendous credit to the club that they have produced and nurtured four 200 game players in such a short space of time. I've met some amazingly dedicated people over the years and made many life long friends through this football club. To all the volunteers, staff, supporters, sponsors and of course my wife, Kylie, thank you for allowing me the privilege of doing what I love to do, play football. Particular thanks to Shane Harman and GH Constructions for sponsoring me personally over the years. Selfishly, I don't contribute too much other than the playing side of the club but I do very much appreciate all the effort that goes in to getting a side on the paddock every week, year after year. All I will do is promise that myself and the team will be giving it absolutely everything when we cross that line on Sunday. A win against Belconnen would be the perfect remedy to what has been a tough start to the season!"
