The Greg Pini Memorial Trophy is awarded to the Club's Best First Year Player. Greg sadly passed away in 1987 due to illness at just 22 and son of Manuka legend John 'Jacko' Pini. Having grown up playing junior football for St. Edmunds College, Greg was awarded the Best First Year player in 1984.
He captained the Manuka Weston reserves in 1987 before playing his last game against Eastlake.
