On Saturday, The Campbelltown Monarch Blues AFL Club is changing its tradition navy blue and white colours for a brighter pink in support of Breast Cancer Awareness.
Organiser and Player Nathan Tyerman said "I was watching the AFL footy and was inspired by the efforts of Shane Crawford, if he can ride to Perth, we as a football club can organise something to help him"
"I myself always do my bit for charities and this year is no exception, we would love to see as many people as we can down at Monarch on Saturday for a great day"
The event includes a jam packed day of footy at Monarch Oval commencing at 10am with the Under 18's then Reserve Grade with the main game starting at 2:10pm with raffles, games and more.
"We have had specially designed Pink jumpers to wear on the day"
A Pink Champagne Afternoon Tea will also be held during the main game for all the ladies who attend on the day.
"We have some great prizes to be given out on the day, The local community has really got behind the event with donations and raffle prizes for our event and we would like to thank them all tremendously for that"
