Reserve grade has a tough task in our opening round having an away match against Randwick Saints, a team we have not beaten since 2011. In 2012 the matches vs Randwick were heavy defeats, both over 100 points. Randwick have recruited well in the off season with various recruits gaining players from Premier Division who have decided to drop down to division 3. Randwick will be pumped up looking to make a statement at home vs Campbelltown.
Campbelltown’s reserve grade trial form has been fair losing its only match to Cronulla.
With many new players playing their first game it will be a tough test coming up against a experienced side although one thing that is certain Campbelltown are not driving 45 minutes down the M5 just to field a team. If Randwick takes Campbelltown Lightly they will be pleasantly surprised as Campbelltown will promise to dish out plenty of bumps and bruises not only on the opposition but also on the scoreboard. So look for a vast improvement from season 2012 and it all starts Vs Randwick @ pioneers park @ 2:10pm.
