The Moorebank Magpies under eighteens side officially begins training on Tuesday 5th February at Rosedale Oval under new coach Terry Radecki. Radecki takes over a side which narrowly missed the finals by a solitary win in 2012 and with a majority of that team returning this season, hopes are high for finals action in 2013.
A number of the U18’s side have been training alongside the seniors since November, working hard with newly appointed strength and conditioning coach Levih Warby to get the best out of them. However coach Radecki felt it was important to make this period optional for the young magpies, and is now expecting all of his players to get on the track and be ready for what promises to be an exciting and successful year for the club.
Training commences at 6:30pm, Tuesdays at Rosedale Oval, Warwick Farm and Thursdays at Kelso Park Nth, Panania through to the end of February, then all training will be at Rosedale with the season beginning on April 6th.
The Magpies are still seeking players for the under eighteens side, as well as the clubs senior sides. The club offers the opportunity for players of all skill, fitness, and experience levels to play Australian Rules football in a fun but competitive environment. If you are interested or would like more information, please contact senior coach Mark Coles on 0424 249078.
